Whitney LaMonda Whitney (Temple) LaMonda is a dedicated athlete that wants to unify her passion for yoga and love for sports. As a former collegiate soccer player Whitney understands the physical, mental, and emotional challenges that all elite athletes face. She believes yoga should be used an integral tool to help athletes take their game to the next level. Through practice yoga strengthens the body, calms the mind, and builds elite competitors! Whitney played division one soccer at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where she earned multiple on and off the field honors. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in psychology and studied sports psychology; refining her understanding of the mental game. In 2010 she was inducted into Piedmont High School’s athletic Hall of Fame for her accomplishments in soccer, tennis, and track. Whitney graduated in May of 2016 from the “Deeper than Asana” 200 hour yoga teacher training program in Tustin, California. Whitney currently practices yoga, strength trains, rock climbs, runs, and plays soccer to stay active. She lives in Orange with her husband AJ and their golden, Bailey. Certified in Adult and Pediatric first aid, CPR, & AED Whitney offers custom private or small group sessions to athletes and non-athletes alike.
